I was involved in Star Trek play-by-email as a teenager, and only recently have I decided to get back involved with it. Typically I had the time prior to post on forums for active role plays, which would constitute hourly or minute-to-minute postings. Since my career as an over-the-road truck driver, I've had little time for anything these past several years, and so I'm trying to get back involved in an area of writing that I fondly remember as fun and inviting.
I've submitted my application and have been in contact over e-mail with staff, but overall I'm not really placed anywhere. At present, I'm spending this time to study the wiki concerning the constitution and laws you all have set forth. So far, it's really simple and very inviting, and feels very welcoming. I've yet to come across anything that makes me feel in any way, shape, or form intimidated by the prospecting of contributing my hobby-talents here.
As my name suggests, my name is Travis. I've established a character by the name of Gregory Paladin, but due to the nature of my application being under review I won't hamper with the biography just yet (unless requested). I hope to contribute and have fun!
