I put in a couple of requests to the DPM and the Academy Commandant, but I've heard nothing back, it seems...odd o-o

I know our DPM is currently on an LOA as it's exam season, so you can either wait for him to get back, or if it's important, you can send it up the CoC. As for Academy; try emailing them again, just in case they didn't receive it the first time. Vance should be around, so far as I know, though he can get busy lately.

Hm, I've made adjustments to my server to be less seen as spam, so hopefully...hopefully, if it was being marked as spam it isn't now I just don't want to be kicked off the academy course. Although when I put on my application, "I really only want to get onto the command course..." awarding me the ship temporarily was a shock XD

Commander. If you are trying to turn in your assignment for your lessons send them to your instructor. I am sure that is what the Commandant will also say.
