I like the idea of both the Borderlands and the Northern Frontier. Those areas of space have a lot of potential for some good story writing, especially since that area hasn't really been seen since the end of the Dominion War. The phasers are MK XIII, not because of the power but because they are new phasers which are newer than the Mk XII's with better peformance, targeting, power consumption etc. Also the ship has lots of torpedo's as she is based off an STO design which happens to have lots of torpedo's for its torpedo...

I like option 1. Option 2 seems more like what happened in STO with the Klingons withdrawing from the Khitomer accords so they can invade the Gorn homeworld. Since that happened in STO, it would fit with the Tokyo's theme but its kind of cheating when it comes to storytelling. As for Option 1 it wou...
