Oh, if you think it's going to be easy to stop boarding Klingons & Borg, think again!

It will take THREE hits with laser/phaser-tag to stop a Klingon.
With Borg, you have to keep changing your phaser frequency.
(Lasers? That's just raw power, will batter down even optimized body deflectors).
