There are over 250 different varieties of colds and once you heal from them you are immune. That is why you get less colds as you get older and why babies get sick so easily.

A cockroach can live several weeks after having its head cut off. Eventually it dies from starvation.

Cats in the wild do not meow. They only make the sound around people.

It is logically impossible to prove something can't happen.

White is not an absence of color, but it absorbs all the colors in the light in any given area and since our eyes do not see colors that are absorbed but rather those that are reflected, we do not see the colors in white.

There's a scene cut from early in Star Wars: A New Hope that better defines Luke's friendship with Biggs. To date, it hasn't made it into any cut of the film.

Going off what Joe said about Star Wars...In Star Wars Jedi Returns it was scripted that Han Solo was supposed to say to Leia "I love you too" when she said "I love you", but he accidentally said "I know" George Lucas never corrected this and so it stuck.

HAH HA! STAR WARS FACT CHECK NAZI STRIKES!!!!!
It was actually The Empire Strikes back that that happened, and it wasn't an accident During Filming, Ford complained that "I love you too" didn't feel like Solo, so they actually went through several different ad libbed responses. Irvin Kershner loved the "I know" response, and so did Lucas
