Old Bones, New Home

I figured if I had the time, I would swing into here quickly and make a quick introduction of myself.
My name is David, but here you will see me as Yoshi Minawara, Commanding Officer of the USS Vesta, a ship that from Pegasus Fleet's perspective is being relaunched, even if it is a new sim for those of us on it now! We came from the outside, a ship we'd been working on for a while, and eventually found a home here! But enough shameless promotion, and more about me.
I've been simming for about a decade now, in various fashions. I am new to Pegasus Fleet, but I plan to make a home here, and hopefully will find a good family too! I am a huge Star Trek nerd (although I would think that obvious from my chosen hobby here) as well as an avid petrolhead, a hockey fan (from the Great White North), and all around a fan of a good book. In my professional life I edit videos, and occasionally get to do cool things as an extension of that job. Other than that, I can be an incredibly boring person, spending my cold evenings sitting on my couch playing video games.
I look forward to getting to know many of you and your various sims, and cannot wait to get a chance to see the life and times of this amazing Fleet that has allowed my crew and myself to call it home!
