Are you experiencing it on specific sites, or generic ones?
What browser/OS/ISP combination are you on?
Can you get me a traceroute to pegasusfleet.net (or a subdomain that you're having issues with)? On a Windows PC, you can do this by opening Command Prompt (Start Menu and search for cmd) and typing tracert pegasusfleet.net (the specific command will differ slightly if you're on a different OS)

Chrome OS.
I tested Tracepath to pegasusfleet.net using 2 different ISPs.

I am very surprised at the improvement in performance, apparently due to screen resolution change.
When I changed resolution to make things more tiny, Pegasus sites suddenly open more quickly.
Could be coincidence, timing wise.
Could be that my system was struggling to materialize large page displays.
Anywho, it's something to try if you're experiencing problems.

{edit} I still experience lags, but they aren't as bad as before.

It may have been something down to your own system causing the issue - I've tested it on a number of different systems, and I don't tend to get any significant lag (granted, I haven't tried on different resolution settings, but that doesn't usually affect web page load times too much).

I'm going to look into seeing if there's a better way to cache some of the site content to make it load quicker, since a lot of it is static.

You could also try downloading and installing locally the primary font that the site uses - Open Sans http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/open-sans

Since it isn't as standard a font as Ariel or TNR, the site pulls it from a Google API so that everybody gets a uniform viewing experience. Installing it locally might help with loading speed since the site shouldn't need to go to Google to load it and can just use the local copy.
