Begginning 3d

Well, for TSA every year a few friends and I do a game... (which cannot be posted until at least after nationals)... It's 3d using the lovely init_d3d trick to make a sprite stand-up... Anyway, part of the game was actually done in 3d in blender (by me, with several problems along the way... to make what looks like gopher vommit)... I lost in states comp. so, I figured I might as well post everything here and see just how ugly it is...

Animation 8
This is the only animation that actually got done as I only needed an opening... the models are ultra low poly here as I had to be able to render this on whatever PC I came across... the textures suck as I haven't the slightest clue how to UV map, so I made a lot of very carefully done procedurals... Needless to say, I like animation more than modeling....

Three 'lazors' were also made though only one actually got animated and used...

Lazor Animation x
Here's the final 'lazors' firing sequence... we effectively butchered it and then keyed out the background in game maker to get something better than the simple 'wand o' death' from the game's first release...

Other stuff so far:

Array of cubes controlled by 3 empties... is pretty basic trick, but its cool looking and even cooler to see this one animated (which I've only done to maybe 40 frames before giving up)

First model from scratch, my "hover-board", still WIP, but getting there... From the right angles, it looks more like a space-ship...

Exhaust for the jets on the back, multi-vectored, I plan to eventually animate them (which is gonna be a LONG time til' its ready for that)...

Starship Project, still working on it bit by bit... I intend to add in V-groups for full control surfaces...

Jet pack belonging to one of my charachters, its NEVER getting textured... TOO many poly's (in my opinion, I HATE texturing...

Latest project, tied in with the starship above... Building starfighter, catapult and ship together... both space craft are intended to go through a wormhole...

Got some more stuff in my 3D... Seems now that what I did up there is basic... (I've learned some new tricks)...

All links as I was rendering at close to HD (blender glitch set it 1 step under for a handful of them)..

Any feedback is quite welcomed... I'm trying to improve everywhere I can... Eventually make a full-sized ship... and paint my dang little shuttle...
