Breathe
It is how it begins
When pen scratches paper
And the only sound is the soft skritch
Of inspiration pouring forth
Expression
Soulful splendor in black and white
Time is ticked off in the form of words
Spilling from the hands and heart
No words are spoken
Release
Shape a newborn dream
As new life takes its first breath
From caring hands that nurture
And look at life through your inscriptions
Solitude
Is the peace that inspires creation
Is the grace to shape the world
Is the essence of the journey
And the lifetime learned within
