Thief Of Mine

Post by Dylan L. Hayes » Mon Nov 09, 2009 12:20 pm

Thief of mine, you stole my heart

Walk tenderly through the chambers of my soul

Now you’re gone I can’t live apart

Split in two, a piece of me in you

I don't know how you got in but I'll never let you out again

I can’t let that happen and be broken again

I wrote your name in the sky but the wind blew it away,

I wrote your name in the Cliffs of Dover but time swept it away,

Thief of mine, you taken control

Under the ice, I’m drowning in you

My heart, my love, my soul

Under the ice, I’ve got to break through

Your influence grows each day

I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away,

So I wrote it in my heart and that's where it will stay
