Return of the Talosians!

It has been nearly 200 years. Everyone thought that the Talosians had dwindled to extinction by now.
No one was more shocked than the Federation full Assembly when a pair of Talosian telepathic projections paid a visit.
They're back, and they want to participate in the star community.
(The first thing the Council did was suspend the death sentence order for anyone making contact with them. )

The denizens of Talos IV want something.
An ancient Psyopolis 'city of the mind' has been found.
But, this long abandoned dream-city is deteriorating, fading away like a hazy dream.
The Talosioans want to rebuild and administrate it.

This psyopolis is located on far distant planet in the Oreliss Cluster, and the Talosians need help getting there.
In return for helping them get there, the Talosians offer to provide Borg early warning.
The vast Borg gestalt supermind is impossible to hide.
As soon as any Borg enter Federation territory, the Talosians will notify the Federation.
This will require some dispersal of Talosian individuals across the alpha quadrant.

Legends have left many, many folks across the quadrant afraid of Talosians.
I suppose that they should be. Every culture has its criminal elements.
(But that can be a future mission. ;) )
But by large the Talosians are on the level.

Magnus Pike will serve as ambassador.
He is the descendent of the legendary starship captain and colonist Vina.
Who wants to pick up a thousand Talosians for the long trek to the Oreliss Cluster?
Don't worry, there aren't any teep-phobes who will stop at nothing to keep the Talosians isolated... or even extinct.
It'll be a cake walk! :)

I'm sure that your Talosian guests won't be getting into your crew's heads during the mission.
No, really! :)

Hey Treymiar,

Since you're WH13, you can do a lot of stuff like this. I personally think it's a fun story idea, but I'm not sure how plausible it is? I forgot you were WH13 with the Harby so my initial "no" goes out the door :) They were fairly adamant about the Human's not getting access to their powers, so it'd be odd to me for them to change positions so drastically, even after all this time. Think they would?

Either way, I'd be interested in follow this story line if you find someone to run it with :)
