Not a bad ship. Over armed maybe?

Well, it's a Frigate... It has to be armed enough to do it's job... In addition, this version is actually toned down to what one fleet has on it... ;)

I believe when I wrote my application as well, I reduced the speed on the frigate vessel. Speed vs Size vs Density are proportional. You're not going to see a sumo wrestler doing a triathlon after all.

Good work Kitty!

Toned down ... makes you wonder what other fleets are using nowadays.

Judging from the specs used by Horizon and Obsidian, practically the same. ;)

How about a speed drop from...

6/9.2/9.4

to

6/8/8.6

Would that be acceptable? Too much? Too little?

Perfect. It's just what a frigate needs. After all, frigates in naval terms are supposed to travel with battleships, as to easily get around to where battleships can't maneuvre to. So I like this so far.

What about a bit closer to 9 for emergency velocity? Since it's only for 8 hours anyway, I think that would be a sensible speed for responding to urgent calls/retreats/whatever situation it is used in.

Agreed, with a few modifications, favorable conditions, an incentive and a creative engineer I think that the ship might even be able to push 9.1 for emergency velocity. I wonder what the consequences of such actions might be :ugeek:
