I'm not one of the extremely tech minded people, but shouldn't "Science Science Office" be something more like "Chief Science Officer's Office"?
Re: [Proposed] New Insignia-Class Specifications
Haven't you ever heard of the renowned field of Science Science? It's far more highly respected than the field of regular Science, but its practitioners are rare, considering each must be individually approved by the Grand Poobah of Sciencey Things of Scientific Sciencemess

Good sir, I knew that you would understand the truth about Science Science!
And yes, that should be Chief Science. That's evidence that your friendly neighborhood Deputy Deputy of R&D was way too tired from real life work when writing up the deck listing
It now stands corrected.

Re: [Proposed] New Insignia-Class Specifications
In the overview you have it as a light cruiser but in the specs you have cruiser which is it...There is a difference after all

/me points to the ship categories on our specs pages
For purposes of categorisation, we've got a far simpler system than would be arguably canon. Out of Carrier, Corvette, Cruiser, Destroyer, Explorer, Ship-of-the-Line and Support Ships, Cruiser's where a 'light cruiser' best fits

Indeed, actually if you look at the specs sidebar, it is listed as a Cruiser. Light cruiser was more for fluff than anything lol. I'll update that.
