You could go into more detail about Caitians and their family and the importance of it. The planet looks good, and the family bit isn't necessary, but it could go a long way. Aside from this it looks good!

Updated to take out the point about the Caitians being descendants of Kzinti. According to Blackcat, it is not true. It now reads as that is what the Kzinti believe and everyone else thinks they are cousin races.
