Alrighty, I need to work on the timeline then and mention that the battle was over before they had the time to put up any kind of resistance. The Psychic Warfare was going to be really gone into in the Resistance post.

Okay, it is changed, but I'm unsure of how to link it to the liberation of Betazed, in which the psychic warfare will be gone into in far more detail if I can figure out how to make it look realistic without godmoding the Betazoids lol.

That's always the challenge. I think that's why the psychic warfare bothers me so much. It's hard to make it work without making them sound like superheroes.

You could always mention the psychic warfare in passing. Or, mention that it wasn't a large factor but a small one. And, finally you could portray the Jem'Hadar soldiers as being weak minded.

From what I've heard, the book had it that that kind of psychic warfare was common in the distant past, leading to the development of their skills and their laws concerning their telepathy. Not sure if that would play a part in it or make it more comfortable for people.

I don't know anything about the book, but without having a good understanding of what the psychic warfare entails, I would just leave it out. Just because a book said it happened doesn't mean that we have to use it here.

Alright. It has been changed to guerilla tactics warfare taught to them by former Bajoran resistance fighters, which would make sense as to why the Betazoids supported Bajor's entrance to the Federation so strongly. I think you guys are right, and we should just leave out the whole psychic warfare thing. Players with SHS might get ideas.
