When you think of Star Trek in general, what comes to mind? Clean, antiseptic, sleek lines and utopian values. Yes, that would be your standard Trek setting. But what about everything else in the universe that didn't decide to ante up to the inner peace and stock up on hand sanitizer? The USS Langport isn't a pretty ship, but she runs. A magnet for the not-quite-squeaky-clean Federation officers, the underdogs, the black sheep, the trouble makers, the wooers of admiral's daughters and the crew with troubled pasts. Though not much was expected of them, this is the ship that will beat the odds and rise above all of those labels to prove that the everyone is worth that second chance.
