Gold, Silver, Bronze

Post by Aaron » Fri Feb 17, 2017 8:07 pm

Ok for those graphic specialist who wants to come up with a medium/small Fleet logo that is generic and the Simms that get Gold, Silver, and Bronze sim of the month can display on there sites. Anyone want to give it a shot?

Working off a template (the other) Aaron created for use on the Antares, I've stuck together a template for the gold/silver/bronze awards and started churning out some images. I've done the SotY and the last few months of the SotM so far; I plan to go back at least a year with them, so watch the space below:

I've gone back and created images for all of the SotM awards handed out back to January 2015. I think only SB332, the Highlander and the Tomcat were around longer than that, so I'll still try and go back and do more, but it's of less importance.

A little historical note; before March 2015 we used a slightly different system for SotM awards, so I've changed the template for awards before then to match. I've also left the wings off those older awards, since they only showed up on our logo after that point (we had a complete redesign of the fleet's image between March and April, when the March awards were announced).

For clarity, the ordering of the older awards (for anyone wanting to look back that far) was:
Diamond = Gold
Ruby = Silver
Emerald = Bronze

Quick note everyone - I've just updated the above link with the last few month's worth of recipients, right up until the latest round, and I've also added some blank ones for the next round (June's awards) so they can be used until I get around to updating them with the name of whoever wins next time around.

Once again, the link is here: https://pegasusfleet.net/awards/sotm/

Can I ask if new generic Gold, Silver and Bronze Sim of the Month award logo's are going to be created for 2018 for the ships in the fleet to display?

I'm just working on the latest batch of them now. I fell a bit behind in creating them recently, but the aim is to keep them going, yes.
